Halloween

The Halloween celebrations in Sweden are largely inspired by the celebrations in the US and have grown a lot since 1990. Among children it’s a very popular celebration when people dress out and in a playful manner scare each other. It is common to dress up in scary costumes but at Happy Kids we have decided that no scary costumes or masks are allowed and that no teachers are allowed to wear masks. Dressing out is of course voluntary.

This day we ususally have different types of activities for the children, it can be everything from making crafts to having a disco.
